Hi, the configuration change you propose is not a fix for the bug.Calendar preview in meeting requests When you view a meeting invitation, Outlook automatically displays your calendar alongside the body of the message.Any real changes had to wait for the next version release. You can now open Outlook and attach files as normal.(And I'm purposefully calling it the source folder, because this inability to delete email in Outlook 2016 bug isn't limited to the Inbox). Thanks for posting this, but I don't think it's a viable solution to the bug. In most cases Outlook error code Outlook 2016 Stuck in Processing should be resolved by following above steps. If you’ve installed Office 2016 since its release on September 22, and are using Microsoft Outlook 2016 with any IMAP-enabled accounts, you might have experienced a bug.
This is actually part of the Office 365 strategy where major new features are also introduced during the main lifetime of the current version, as we saw with Office 2013.Warning: Before proceeding, make sure you have updated Outlook to the latest version (patch) currently available. If you do not update Outlook before proceeding, the potential exists that you will be unable to configure your account to Office 365 (you will receive an error during the configuration process). To get there to make the setting change: I've been experiencing the "can't delete IMAPS email" but you describe. When I select the "Mark items for deletion..." checkbox (and leave the "Purge items when..." checkbox selected), email is indeed deleted. When the "Mark items for deletion..." checkbox is left unchecked, the email is moved to the Deleted folder, but it isn't deleted from the source folder.
