If we need a test detonation to figure out how the disease progresses more accurately, I don't have a problem with that. they are 8th graders and always connected to the web, but seldom connect to their world beyond their small circles.

With a half-life of just over 5,000 years, any Carbon-14 atoms that were created in stars, billions of years ago, have long since decayed away into nitrogen atoms.I also understand the concerns with carbon-14 dating regarding the impact of fossil fuels / atomic activity in recent dating attempts.I also am aware of new carbon contamination when sampling. Or more precisely, how old are your cells..cells in your liver, or your spleen, or your brain?It's a question that's harder to answer than you think.
